Thinking about excepting a trade for Stubbs. But I don't know much about him. Is he better than BJ Upton. I'm in a keeper league with no limit to the amount of years you can keep a player. I would be trading BJ and a closer who I don't need.

They're very similar players and they put up similar numbers. They don't hit for average, they smack some home runs and they swipe a bunch of bases. IMO I like Stubbs more, he probably has a bit more upside.. It's really a toss up though. Thanks for the help with mine.

Close enough players, I don't think there is a wrong answer here. I like Stubbs slightly more, but if he proposed the offer to you, I'd 1st try to tweek it into a 2-2 and seek a small upgrade elsewhere. If he balks at that, and you prefer Stubbs too, take his original offer.

What's funny is that I like BJ Upton slightly more.

For a full season I would say Upton, but both are streaky players, and right now Stubbs is hot. So I would be going for Stubbs right now since he will probably have a stronger overall finish.
