Ian Desmond strategy...

Am I wasting my time with with Ian Desmond? He was dropped in my league. I picked him up but now with Bautista on the DL for longer than expected, he is taking up a valuable roster spot.

I am in good shape to make the playoffs so my thinking was to stash him to increase my MI production. I currently have Kinsler, Castro, and Theriot.

Depends on your roster/league standings/WW... Desmond will be solid when he's back, which could be soon so if you think you can manage with a roster spot being open, stick with him for sure, given that there's no better players to be had
