Here's what the Dickey owner just wrote me:

"Its a fair deal but not sure its one I want to make. Dickey is probably going to win the cy young award. He is 14-3 with a 2.82 era and a 1.03 whip.

I take dickey over kershaw, cain, verlander, king felix or jered weaver. Hands down. Not even close."

He IS a Mets fan, but is his Dickey mancrush that justified? Over Weaver? Verlander?

Jered Weaver is in his final keeper year .... what if I offered Beltran and Lincecum for Weaver. Good deal for me?

There is no way I would EVER take Dickey over Weaver, Kershaw, Cain, King Felix or Verlander. That's ludicrous imo.

I totally agree, I wouldn't either, but doesn't it mean something that Dickey is JUST below, if not in the mix with these top aces?
