.270 hitters is fine if he plays SS and has secondary skills. It's not like any of the other 3 are great contact hitters(still not convinced on Billy being a .300 hitter in the majors). Machado has the best power ceiling(can be argued with Bogeart but Xander is so far away he's pretty much just a dream now) out of the group and the 2nd most likely(after Lindor) to stay at the position. Recent scouting report was very positive about his defense there.
I don't think it's particularly close but if others disagree I'd like to hear their arguments.
Full disclosure: I do own Billy Hamilton in a league and Lindor in another.
Edit: I'd go as far as to say that I prefer Machado's bat over Profar long term due to scout projection. Profar is still clearly the better prospect due to his excellent defense, but defense don't net you points in fantasy.
