Werth or Reddick? WHIR*

Postby StealingHome » Mon Aug 06, 2012 1:33 pm

12-team H2H 5x5 points league (non-keeper)

Runs: 2 points
Hits: 0.5
Home Runs: 4
RBI: 2
SB: 2

Someone in my league dropped Josh Reddick. Jayson Werth is also on the WW. I'm currently in 2nd place (with thanks to my pitching). I plan on playing him at Util. Whom do you like more rest of the season?

C: Miguel Montero
1B: Michael Morse
2B: Jason Kipnis
3B: Chase Headley
SS: Derek Jeter
OF: Justin Upton
OF: Curtis Granderson
OF: Matt Holliday
Util: Corey Hart (OF)
Util: Dexter Fowler (OF)

Thanks! WHIR

Reddick is in a little bit of a slump as of late, so I would go with Werth.

While Reddick may come out of his slump, I think that they are both probably .270-.260 hitters. But I think that (despite the risk of reinjuring himself) Werth has the possibility of a better season here on out. I think that he is slated to play everyday at RF with Harper in CF. Maybe it's because Reddick is much younger that I give the nod to Werth. I don't know. Anyone else?

Werth has the track history, but he hasn't been the same for a while now. I would go with Reddick. I don't care for either guy though.

Not in love with either, but I'm leaning towards Reddick.

However, you could always just ride the hot hand.
