Pence for Kipnis ... but...

Hey everyone, I just got offered Hunter Pence for my Kipnis. Sounds like a great deal right? I would totally accept it except I already have Braun, Kemp, Beltran, Cain, Soriano as my OF. Do you think I should do this deal anyway? I'd rather trade him for a pitcher.

I prob wouldn't. This is an awful time to trade Kipnis, he is playing at his floor right now imo.

And if you traded Kipnis, who would be your new 2B?


If I was you, I would just abandon this trade and go for a SP. Since that is what you think you would rather need.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I also have Altuve and Bonifacio on the DL to fill the spot at 2nd. Yeah, Kipnis has had a rough go of it for a while.

Well that does help the trade make more sense, I still think it is the wrong time to trade Kipnis though.

It's also a standard 5x5 league.. I'd help out with yours but I am unfamiliar with how your league works and I don't know what to tell you. I'll try to offer some sort of opinion though.
