The guy who owns Sabathia is wanting too high of a pick along with Viciedo, so I am moving on to a different trade.
Should I trade my Dayan Viciedo and a draft pick for Ryan Vogelsong? I will prob have to give a pick in the 9th-12th round range. What do you think would be a fair pick to include?
Viciedo can be kept in the 18th round next year, so he has good keeper status in our league. Sabathia would not be a good keeper since he was drafted so high. I just feel like I need to shore up my pitching staff for the playoffs since I have been hit by some injuries, and Sale is going to be shutdown at some point.

I definitely think you should make that deal if you can. Your weak in the OF but your starters could use some help too.. I'm not sure what draft pick you should offer though, but it seems like a smart move.
Obviously the lower the pick you offer the more I like the deal. Viciedo straight up for Vogelsong is a no brainer for me, especially for your squad. If you can swing it with an 11th or 12th rounder, it's still a no-brainer. 9th or 10th pick is a little more iffy, but you could use the SP help.
Long story short: I'd do it no matter what, but how much I like the deal depends on how high of a pick you end up having to give up.
I'd do the deal, but we're talking about Vogelsong...Not Verlander. For some reason, I just can't see him being this good for long. But I am STRONGLY of the opinion that SP can be overrated and can be replaced easily (I love to stream/play matchups). I wouldn't include any draft picks and see what he says. If no, then go with as low a pick as possible. Its hard for me to advise you on what round as my league doesn't trade picks so I don't have a good feel for what a 9th, 12th, or 20th rounder is worth.

thanks.
This... start with one-for-one and if he doesn't go for a straight-up deal, move on to adding the lowest possible pick (12th?) you'd be willing to give up. Not sure I'd go much lower than that, but then I like Viciedo for his power potential more than most folks do.
