I'm just happy he went on the DL before the trade deadline in my keeper, I was able to get rid of him to stay in contention this year. It was a tough call for next year, but I got a haul (Cliff Lee, Grienke and Jansen) so I had to take it.

I'm sure of the makeup of your league but I'd say this is quite a haul, considering Bautista is an aging slugger with wrist problems.

It was a win win, we only keep 4 players (one has to be a pitcher) and he had Bumgarner. I actually will be throwing all those guys back into the draft most likely because I already have Sale and Wainwright, it was purely a play for this year for me, and a no lose situation for the other manager. If he would have been injured one week later, I would have been left with nothing for this year and a choice on whether or not to keep him next year.
