16 team H2H keeper league. K is keepers from last year. This year I keep between 10 and 12. C- Rosario 1B- C. Hart 2B- Kipnis 3B- Lawrie K SS- Castro OF- Stubbs K OF- Fowler OF- Chris Young OF- Ibanez Util- Moustakas K BN-Aviles BN- Revere BN- B. Hamilton (NA) BN- Votto (DL) K BN- Mesoraco (DL) DL- V Mart

I need help. I am in 12th and out of the playoff picture. Should I drop someone for Olt and then trade Lawrie or Moustakas (1 guy really wants one of them). What other trades should I make to improve for next year. Thanks for the help and leave a link.
I would say deal Stubbs now while he's hot to maximize your return. DO NOT trade Votto at this point. He's injured and you won't back as much as you should for him.
I'd also field offers from the guy who wants Moustakas or Lawrie.
A couple other guys I would field offers for are Kipnis and Revere.

What do you think is a fair deal? Thanks
Well you could definitely use Molina as a catcher upgrade. You could also use another starter but no one he has really interests me too much. Kennedy, Halladay, and Worley have had down years while Moore hasn't been amazing.
I would try to target Molina, Trout, Victorinio, or Longoria. Obviously you're going to have to give up a substantial amount to get any of these guys, but you have glaring holes/lack of production at those positions.
I would trade Moustakas...but in a keeper league you should ask for a lot. You have a monopoly on the two best up and coming 3B. I like lawrie more though, for sure...so hold on to him. Olt is in a weird situation there in texas...no idea what they are going to do with the kid. I hope they get him regular at bats, but in a keeper league I think he's at least worth a grab and then potentially flip him if he catches fire.
I agree here somewhat....I would def trade Mous/Lawrie if this guy is interested in them. I would charge a lot though since this is a keeper league and both have great value...I agree with another poster that you should try and trade Stubbs as well especially sice he is hot right now so you might be able to get a somewhat premium value. I would only trade Votto if you got something awesome in return (which most likely you won't since he is hurt right now)
I think you should target Trout, Molina, Longoria and even Rizzo (for keeper value at 1B)
You def have some holes here but not a bad looking team for a keeper (and non-keeper)...I just feel you should tweak your team a bit and get what holes you need filled (C, 1B, upgrade(s)).....so trade guys like Stubbs (always injured and just don't like him IMO) and trade guys that the other guy really wants (Mous/Lawrie) but make sure you get back great value for all the guys and guys that will help for this year and future years.
I agree with most of what everyone else has said. Dont undersell Mous or Lawrie though, since they are great keepers. I would DEF deal Stubbs though, as well as every one of your other valuable players that you aren't planning on keeping (Colon, Corey Hart, Fowler, Revere, VMart). Kipnis and Castro are both def better keepers then Stubbs right now, imo. So I would try and keep Kipnis and Castro if you can, if you are full then someone def should trade for them as well.
dont give up moustakas or lawrie for any sort of a discount, if youre going to trade them to the guy that wants either one of them, try to get him to pay a bit more for them
if youre going to target anyone from his roster, trout has to be it. yes you have to pay through the roof for him, but you can offer even both of moustakas and lawrie and additional pieces for trout and see what he thinks. he would get two guys you know he wants so he might value them a bit higher than others, and youll get one of the most valuable keeper players in the mlb
I would take a look at acquiring Rizzo/Profar personally. You're building for the future and those two to me have the most longterm upside (outside of Longoria and Trout who I'd doubt he'd move).
