Another guy to keep an eye on is Ted Lilly (currently on the DL).

LHP Ted Lilly, who threw two scoreless innings in a minor league rehab game with Class A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday, will start again for Rancho Cucamonga on Friday and is expected to throw three innings followed by a bullpen session, totaling 60 pitches in all. Manager Don Mattingly said the best-case scenario for Lilly would be two more rehab starts, which could put him in line for a return to the Dodgers as early as August 13.

He'll give you a tidy ERA and WHIP and probably some Ws out in the low-offense NL West. No Ks though but can be had for absolutely nothing and stashed on the DL for a week or two. Also, great post h0rt. ;-D

*forehead smack* I actually have him on my DL and somehow forgot to mention him. Thanks!

It's August, so let's revisit Lawrie vs. Moustakas 5x5 challenge:

Lawrie: .284, 59 R, 9 HR, 40 RBI, 13 SB
Mous: .257, 48 R, 16 HR, 50 RBI, 3 SB

It'd take a huge Run spike for Moustakas to take the 5x5, but the fact that it's so close is very interesting.

There's two months to go, those batting AVGs could meet each other quite easily. :-b
