I'm honestly surprised at how many threads have mentioned Hellickson as available. Last I checked he hat a sub 3.30 ERA. If he was available, I'd take him over anyone you mentioned.

Samardijza could be a good spot starter every now and then.

Agreed. Hellickson should be owned in most leagues.

Ranking the other pitchers (giving you my top 5):
Beckett -> Still has ace potential
Samardijza -> Great spot starter
Diamond -> Lots of potential, poor team
J Parker -> Rookie season, great pitcher

Hellickson immediately stood out to me. The others not so much

I really like Hellickson, Parker, and Beckett out of that group. Beckett has had a bad season, but like someone stated above he still has ace potential.

Samardzija also is a good spot starter.

Samardzija, great K/9, and a good xFIP.

Parker

Beckett hasn't been a ace for a few years, and has a career low K/9.

Hellickson has a 4.80 xFIP, buyer beware.
