I need to make a FA pickup. I need wins and k's. I need wins more than anything else. I leaning towards AJ or McDonald or Nova.

Ryan Vogelsong
Edinson Vólquez
Iván Nova
Chris Capuano

that is my list...vogelsong won't get you too many K's but man he is a QS machine so it just takes his team scoring 3-4 runs and it'll get you the win, and they just added a nice bat to their lineup. Mcdonald has had a rough go lately, but i think he'll find it.

James McDonald
Kyle Lohse
Edinson Vólquez
Chris Capuano
Iván Nova
C: Perez, Napoli,

These rankings are pretty much opposite of the previous poster, but these are based purely on K's per 9 innings and W's, both already accrued and expected through the end of the year.

Capuano (having a career year, 7.9 K/9, will win ballgames)
Volquez (8.2 K/9 is down from his average, but he plays for a crummy squad)
Nova (playing over his head with 8.1 K/9, will get wins)
McDonald (7.9 K/9, but is walking too many and isn't going deep enough into games)
Vogelsong (6.6 K/9, hope he doesn't regress, but if he does, SF's offense won't bail him out)
Lohse (sure, you'll get a few wins, but his 5.2 K/9 isn't going to help)
