I'm trying to decide what I can ditch in order to improve my roster for the money run. I haven't seen any Nats games, and I'm not very good with the in-depth stats... has Desmond actually improved or has he been lucky?

He's improved...but I'm not sure he's this good of a power hitter..
Really all that's changed in his stat profile is his fly balls are turning into home runs this year...a much higher rate than the previous two seasons
Now..he did flash 20 HR power multiple years in the minors but with 8 and 10 homers respectively the past two seasons, who is the real Ian Desmond?
My guess is his home run rate will not stand as high as it is..but turning 27 years old he seems like he's figured something out and I'd have no problem putting a 15 HR/20 SB floor on him for next season..but banking on 25 homers is probably a mistake
Why don't they just get a house that's already painted?
