Might as well. Was pulled with 87 pitches after ten days' rest, I don't think there is any risk whatsoever, and he has 48 hours to make the transition.

1/30.
So no then
I want to say the odds are slim he signs with the Angels after they shelled out so much cash this past off-season on Pujols and Wilson. That said, he could still sign with an AL team, if fear of losing him in an AL Only League is an issue. I'd love to see him sign with like the Pirates. Maybe the Marlins shell out a ton of dough again to land him? Boston, New York, Texas have to always be on any list for a big name FA.
Hunter and Ervin Santana are FA's so that frees up 30M plus they lose the Abreu contract. What hurts their payroll aren't the Pujols and Wilson contracts but rather the Wells contract. It's still absolutely unbelievable that they picked up something like 4/80 when they traded for him. And they traded Napoli to make it happen. I think the chances are at least 1 in 8 since they have a chance and there are a lot of clubs that can't/won't.
Which set of prospects does everyone prefer (evaluated right now): LoCain, Alcides, Odorizzi and Jeffress
or
Segura, Pena and Hellweg
I'll give the edge to the Royals players since Alcides is doing it right now but he's due for a little regression. I also like Odorizzi better than either of Pena/Hellweg but overall the Brewers didn't do that bad considering I thought this was an underwhelming trade at first.
The guys the Royals got are obviously better, but it makes sense that they would be, as they paid for two years of Grienke while the Angels paid for two months (plus no comp pick due to the new rules).
