According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, the Angels have acquired Zack Greinke from the Brewers. The rumored deal would net the Brewers Jean Segura and a pair of Double-A pitchers.
the Angels got Greinke without having to give up Bourjos. I had picked up Bourjos the other day in my one deep league hoping he would be traded and get playing time. they now also have Santana and still Garrett Richards. so what happens next? Weaver, Greinke, Haren, Wilson, and 1.
Holy pitching staff batman... That is ridiculous. No insane over the top front end starter, but very deep and solid high tier guys nonetheless. Angels are gonna be tough down the road if Trumbo/Trout keep up the offense.

Greinke is pretty much an insane over the top front end starter. There aren't many better pitchers out there.
Yeah Greinke is one of the better pitchers in baseball. Weaver isn't far behind. Wilson is an insanely good #3. Same goes for Haren. Damn... they should have added both new wild card spots to the AL so the best teams can make the playoffs.

Yeah I actually like the Angels better than the Rangers now. This was probably the best possible acquisition this year even with several days left. Reason being one of them has to be a Wild Card team and I like the Angels' chances out of the WC better because they can use whoever lines up for the WC game and then trot out 3 of Haren, Weaver, Greinke and Wilson in the ALDS vs. the Rangers starting Darvish or Harrison and not having much left to use until game 4 or 5 of the ALDS. And of course if healthy the Angels probably have the best 4 man playoff rotation right now.
