My Altuve and Hanson for Jeter WHIR

Postby sigriffey » Fri Jul 27, 2012 5:51 pm

This isn't a blockbuster, but is it worth doing to clear a roster spot for Ortiz next week and fortify my bench? I dunno what to make of Hanson ... he's been awful.

I'd rather see you trade those two guys for another SP or good closer.

Help me in return? viewtopic.php?f=94&t=451094&p=3550882#p3550882

Agree with the above. Go after something that would be more useful than Jeter.

Agreed. When there's no room in your lineup, you should focus on adding pitching depth. For your team i would seek a closer.
Mauer, A-Gonz, Pedroia, Miggy, E. Cabrera, Beltran, Morse, Holliday, Beltre, Gomez, Rizzo, Lawrie, Hanley

Greinke, Johnson, Haren, Hellickson, Jackson, McCarthy, Miley, Anderson, Ryu, Miller, Garza, Street, Frieri, Boggs, Benoit

Gotta go with the herd here, Jeter does nothing for you, so add some pitching depth in case of injury or job-change.

I moved Altuve for Fister. Could I have gotten more? Yes, in theory, but nobody selling so it seemed like a solid buy on a good who is heating up.
