I would rather have Rizzo alone, but would take Phillips/Dunn over Rizzo/Hill by an eyelash. Either way it's close, I would lean towards taking the deal with the 2Bs in.

After about a month since this, I'm curious what you did with this deal with Dunn on his way to 50 HR and Rizzo doing near nothing.

Cool.

Lesson to be learned here is that if you see a young player get off to a hot start yet shows little to no patience, you stay awaaaaay!

Walk rate is your friend.

Ironically enough, if you look at their last 30 days stats, it really is still a crapshoot.

Rizzo .261 AVG, 13 R, 4 HR, 16 RBI, 1 SB
Dunn .183 AVG, 15 R, 8 HR, 17 RBI, 1 SB

Only question is how much pain you can afford in the batting average category.

The only reason to own Dunn is if you desperately need home runs. If you do not desperately need them, then keep Rizzo.

More like if you want to win HR just about every week.

If you have dunn that means you got him for real cheap in the draft which means that you got early round big boppers which means winning HR almost always.
