Question about Fantasy Baseball Playoffs

Postby tecmo » Thu Jul 26, 2012 12:24 am

I'm new to fantasy baseball. I'm curious if it's common to cut out some of the last regular season games for the playoffs. Like in the NFL, where teams sit stars on week 17 to prevent injury. Does fantasy baseball cut out some regular season games for the playoffs? If so, what is the common amount of games to cut out? thanks

Hi -- Welcome to Fantasy. It will change your outlook on baseball forever. == I have never seen where any of the last days of a season were cut out. Baseball is not like football. The starting players play pretty much normal in the last week or so of the season, unlike football. There will be some players up for every team from the minors in September, but you can't really guard against that.
