I think that I can afford to give up Jansen. Is Chris Sale enough of a return?

Value-wise ... yes. But Sale is already at 117.2 IP ... which is something that he has never done. Even as an amateur he had not thrown more than 89+ innings. I fear that he'll hit a wall at some point. I also don't believe that you can really afford it. Clippard is 1 slip up away from a setup role again with Storen back. Cook has been good, but it's not like Oakland doesn't have 2-3 other guys that are capable of hammering down the ninth if he falters at some point. I would try to deal Cook or Clippard for a starter if anything.

I think you probably get the better of the deal, but I would not do the deal because of Clippard's situation. You do not want to be left with one closer. I would try to deal Clippard while you can for a better starter. You have a need for SP and you should be able to get something for Clippard better than what you have.

I think you are definitely getting a good return in this deal, but you would immediately need another closer.
So if you know you can get another closer after this trade goes through, then go for it.
