Longoria vs Zimmerman....

Hi Guys,

I'm in a 15 team 5x5 league in which I've had a terrible year of drafting so I'm out of it and playing for next year. An owner is asking if I'm interested in Longoria which a year ago I would've jumped at, but now I wonder how much of upgrade he really is. I'm basically just looking to improve keepers for next year.

3. T.Tulowitzki
4. B.Posey
5. R.Zimmerman

Does Longoria really present that much of a difference? Or should I jump at moving Zimmerman in a package for him? Alternatively, I've been burned big on pitching this year so I was thinking of acquiring a top tier pitching instead. Thoughts?

I don't think it's vastly that much different, though I know Longoria annually gets ranked ahead of Zimmerman. Both have power, average, and injury history now. Zimmerman is in an improved lineup, so Longoria doesn't have that much of an advantage over him. Clearly the other guy wants an active bat now, so maybe there's a way to convince the other manager to throw something else in to make it truly worth your while.
