no way Ichiro suddenly changes his entire game. the Yankees know exactly what theyre getting with him, and its definitely NOT a power hitter
Ichiro has stated previously that he could hit, I think it was 50, HR if he wanted to. Maybe this is the time he decides to try it out. He will face the AL East opponents with the zeal of a challenger.
Looks like he hit .322 as a Yankee last year and his slugging percentage was near the highest of his career...though in only 227ABs.
And just signed a 2 year deal to return to the pinstripes.
