So much for that. Apparently the Braves have moved on and are stuck with one of Jurrjens/Minor for the time being.

During an appearance on 680 The Fan in Atlanta on Wednesday morning, Braves general manager Frank Wren said that the team has "moved on" from a possible trade for Cubs' right-hander Ryan Dempster.

Really tough for the Cubs, they've lost a lot of leverage. Would be surprised if they could pluck Webster at this point.

If they can't get the guy they want, they should be happy with the draft pick coming when Dempster leaves during the off-season.
