When do you draft Prior with the injury?

Postby chinch sacs » Sat Apr 03, 2004 10:00 pm

I drafted today, and I just couldnt let Prior go past the 4th round...

When is a good place to draft him?
Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...

Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

I'd say 4th round is about right. Maybe 3rd in a larger league.

Just my thoughts but... If he slipped to the 4th round thats an amazing steal, If I was drafting I would take him 5-15th overall even though he's currently injured. Many experts still have him winning the CY Young. Plus in a keeper league he's even more valuable.

You crazy. Seriously, taking a guy in the first round who you know is out at least a month and maybe more.

I'd go about 3rd. 2nd you could probably get guys like halladay so 3rd or 4th would be the right timing.

I agree. I would rather have Halladay, Schilling, and Pedro before Prior now.

I would wait until the 4th round. He may miss more than one month.
