Beltran or Konerko

Hey Everyone.

A guy in my league is selling for picks. I am in first and am looking to deal with him.

He would do Sabathia and Konerko for a 1st and 3rd pick. Should I do Sabathia and Beltran, also a possibility.

OF - Heyward, Trout, Markakis, Joyce
Util - ARam
BN - S. Perez, Plouffe, Furcal
DL - Stanton

I won't list pitchers but I do need an ace for the rest of the year.

Lately I have been playing Posey at 1st and Perex at C and benching Hosmer. Stanton is gone for awhile.

Should I go for Beltran or Konerko to go with CC???

If you are to do it...Beltran of course, and I would only do this if you are looking to definitely win this season, bc giving up picks can be costly for the future. Being that you are in first place, I'd do it

Thanks I am playing to take it this year. Plus I will be able to move players...even CC for picks after the season is over.

I say Konerko better ROY. Beltran looks a bit spent. Konerko's got more firepower going in that bandstand.

You're basically giving up an 11th rounder and a 14th rounder for CC AND one of those hitters? Hellz yeah! I would take Beltran.
