14-team hth keeper league (we get to keep 12 guys, using the pick in the draft 3 rounds earlier than their pick the past year besides 1 franchise player that stays the same round).
So, I've been offered the following:
Austin Jackson (13th round) Emilio Bonifacio (9th round) and Marco Estrada (FA)
for my
Jay Bruce (6) Tim Hudson (13) and Mike Aviles (20)
As a keeper, no doubt Jackson is the best player in the deal, and Jay Bruce is in a wicked slump, but a) do I lose too much power in the deal (although I do gain speed which I need), and b) do you think I can stream a decent 5th starter when Strasburg gets shut down? If Morrow is back and good, it's no problem, but if not...??? I'm in 1st place and would like to keep it that way... Estrada is helpful when I have a week against a team with no closers, because he qualifies at RP too. Rosters/rules below.
Leave a link, and I'm more than happy to help you.
Thanks!
Dave

I am not too familiar with these certain rules but on paper here (or PC...lol)....it looks like a good deal for you. I like AJAX like you said the best of all in a keeper league and he will provide speed but to be honest he has been more of the power hitter this year over speed throwing people for more of a loop...I think AJAX will provide more power than you think (not as much as Bruce but still decent)
I have A.Morrow and I wonder what he will be like upon his return and if he plays like he did before going down then that would be just fine and personally i think he will be great going forward so I really don't see you having a problem in that department.
look at this deal better for you in the long run for a keeper league without hurting you much if at all this year...I would make the move.
AJax' 0.396 BABIP is not sustainable. He's likely to hit in the 0.270's the rest of the way. That said, his BB rate is up and K rate is down. So I doubt that his season is a complete fluke. The upgrade you would get from Aviles to Bonifacio make it worth it to me. Plus, you get the best keeper. Fair deal.
Stick with what you have. I am not big on Jackson but I love Bruce
Keep C Napoli 1 Butler/Davis/Hosmer/Dunn 2 Young/Utley/Zobrist 3 Moustakas SS Bonifacio/E Cabrera OF Grandy/Choo/Reddick/Kubel SP Anderson/C Lee/Oswalt Haren/Moore/A Sanchez RP Soriano/Myers/Johnson/Aceves/Parnell
Don't play keeper leagues. I like AJax and Bonafacio better than Bruce and Aviles. Hudson is older so you could drop Scutaro (for FA, right?) in keeper leagues.
You lose Bruce's power but you have Stanton, Freeman, MCab, Zimmerman and Tulo
