Looking ahead to 2013, should I trade Verlander or Strasburg for some combination of Jay Bruce/Eric Hosmer/David Ortiz? What about Greinke?

Strasburg=future top 3SP

Jay Bruce/Hosmer=unknown
Ortiz=tail end of career.

I'd add Rizzo to that core group and feel ok with Altuve being the 9th guy. The 10th spot a little up for grabs with Jennings winning it right now based soley on potential. If there are no dollar values of draft rounds associated with how you keep players then you need to keep the best guys. It doesn't make sense to downgrade on someone like Verlander to give you a couple of ok guys unless your roster is a complete mess. This isn't the case. You have a nice core to build around. If anything, I would be looking to give up depth to add to it. Maybe a Rizzo/Altuve trade to the Kipnis owner for example.
