Enough already so how about a post or two about how keeper leagues should be viewing this guy. In one of my leagues, a 7 man keeper, I am planning on making him one of my keepers. As Element has mentioned, his approach at the plate is worlds better than what we saw in April.
I like him as a speculative keeper. It's a pity he's in Oakland with that power of his, but there is some hope that after a year in the league he'll be more confident in what he can do. Then again, he will also have more game tape for other teams to watch. Next year he could have a good year with confidence or a rough year with improved opposition. Worth a roll of the dice to see what he can do.

Exactly. Kind of annoying that people would rather have a pissing match than discuss his actual fantasy value. I'm in a near identical situation (8 man keeper), and plan on keeping him as well. Does this guy possess legit 40 HR power? He has a very violent swing with a lot of loft, so I do think it's possible. I'd say he has 30-35 HR upside for sure, but if he has the tools to hit 40, I don't care what team he's on, that will absolutely play in fantasy.
Hell, 30-35 will play too, but in that lineup, the run production just won't be enough to push him into the top one or two tiers of OF's. Maybe borderline top 20. But if he can jack 40, keep his average respectable, and steal 15 or so bags, he would push for top 10 ranking at OF.

I'd say definitely.
@Thatguy27 - Yeah, I've been asking myself on what this guys ceiling is too but really we've got no idea. Will he continue to make adjustments and stay ahead of the curve or will pitchers and scouts find and exploit other weaknesses? Nevermind the fact he plays for the usually offensively challenged A's.
