Nah, he'll be reunited with Davey Lopes and he's hit more HRs,had more SBs, runs & rbi's away from Philly this year.

I remember reading last week that Braves fans were happy to be sending off Delgado in lieu of trading Teheran and Vizcaino. With as many pitchers coming back from TJ as there are these days, certainly worth the gamble for TheoJed.
I am not happy about this trade. This could definitely be a huge move for the Cubs if it pans out. It won't be a huge move for the Braves. I can only guess they think his arm won't hold up, because it seems like you have to shoot for more than a journeyman starter on a hot streak from your elite pitching prospects.

Seems like the Victorino deal is close. Read that Dom Brown was scratched in Lehigh Valley.

word just in, Giants have traded for Hunter Pence.
EDIT: rotoworld.
Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports that the Giants are closing in on a deal with the Phillies for outfielder Hunter Pence.
The division-rival Dodgers have been very busy over the past week, so the Giants are preparing to make a counter-blow. Pence is batting .271/.336/.447 with 17 home runs, 59 RBI and a .784 OPS this season and would take over the starting right field job in San Fran. The 29-year-old is under team control for 2013. It's not clear who might be sent to Philadelphia.

Everyone is going crazy about Pence to the Giants on twitter. But the Giants had nothing to offer. Better not have traded for that C as the main piece of this deal.

Looks like Dempster to the Dodgers (Finally). If the return is bad (i.e. worse than Delgado) he just wasted a lot of good will from Cub fans (who care).
Also Pence to the Giants, that's got to be a value killer.
