Ian Desmond for Ryan Dempste

My league is a ten team keeper league with no limit to how long you can keep a player. My question is will Desmond have better numbers than Rollins for the rest of the year and is Desmond a keeper.
He is also offering Crawford but I like the fact of getting a SS that I can keep for years. Any thought on how Desmond really is.

Desmond is alright but whether he is a long term keeper really depends on your team. Not sure the he will be a 30 HR guy but he could be a 20/20 guy with a BA more around the .270 mark than the .290 mark.

Moving him for Dempster is a fine move and I would take Desmond over Rollins. As for Crawford, really hard to say because of what Crawford has been through the last year and half. Crawford has way more upside but I am not sure we will see that upside again.

Well that is 10 solid keepers so it looks like Desmond would be one of your last two spots. Like I said, I think you do the deal either way but with this many keepers than Desmond is a solid get. Plus you could try and flip Rollins and something else for another keeper.
