I was offered My Peavy and Moustakas for his Pence, Willingham, and Longoria. Should i do this deal? I have no use for moustakas but he was thrown in on my last trade. However, that left me with out an OF so I really need to free up room. because Im set at 3b with miggy. I don't really want longoria because obviously I have no use for him either but I have an open dl spot. heres my roster.

I think it's a wash, but if you want to get an OF then go for it. I think Longoria will help you down the line, so think of this as a future investment in case you need to make a future trade. You could always find a team for Tex to get someone, then let Cabrera slide into 1B while Longoria goes to 3B. Hey, options are always nice.
I think that you win this by a fairly large margin. Break it up.
Peavy < Pence. I'd much rather have Pence and you NEED the OF'er. So this is a win in itself.
You're then acquiring Willingham and Longo for Moustakas. YES PLEASE!!! Even if these players aren't mainstays in your lineup .... you're increasing your trade value by a mile and giving yourself a ton of roster flexibility.
I'm not really sure that Longoria comes back to make a big splash, so that's why a Willingham/Longo for Moustakas might be more of a wash. If, of course, he comes out blazing then it's a win, but I doubt that happens. I would still make the deal and hope for big stats.
Would I be better off if I just accepted Willingham for Moustakas instead and hang on to Peavy or go through with peavy, moustakas for pence, willingham, longoria to open lots of trade possibilities in the future?

I'm not a big Longoria guy, but many are. So if you can get him and spin him at the fantasy trade deadline for a pitcher better than Peavy, then why not?
