Any chance to land Trout? [Always WHIR]

Postby TruYankeeFan » Thu Jul 19, 2012 8:18 am

OK...I know I am REALLY REACHING....but I have to try.

12 team head 2 head...scoring as follows...r,rbi, tb, obp, netsb/ip, sv, k, era, whip

He is looking for 1b, 2b, sp and rp.....

I was thinking of offering my Carlos Ruiz/Jose Altuve/Melky Cabrerra for his Trout/McCann/Markakis

I know if he really likes trout he wont give him up...but how far should I go to convince him without sacrificing my ability to win.

BTW he and I are battling it out for 1st all season so far....so even less of a chance unless I can make an offer he thinks is favoring him.

BUT I HAVE TO TRY....LMAO How sweet would an OF of Trout/Cargo/Harper be, with Cespedes as a uitl/backup? fyi...I would move Craig to 2nd for the rest of the season.

My lineup:
C-Ruiz
1B-Prince
2B-Altuve
SS-Jeter
3B-Arod
OF-CarGo
OF-Melky Cabrera
OF-B Harper
UT-A Craig
BN-Napoli, Cespedes, Gardner(DL)

SP-Kershaw, J McDonald, Dempster, Harrison, Zimmermann, Fiers, Hughes, Shields
RP -Chapman, Axford, Wilhelmson

His Roster
C-McCann
1B-Rizzo
2B-Zobrist
SS-Desmond
3B-HanRam
OF-Trout
OF-Prado
OF-Beltran
UT-Butler
BN-Andrus
BN-Markakis

SP- Dickey, Verlander, Halladay, Darvish, Wainwright, Miley,
RP- Soriano, Valverde, Aceves, Casilla, Broxton

Am I dreaming? or can we make this work?

Leave a link and I will hit you back. Thanks!

never gonna happen for that...Cargo would more than likely have to be the centerpieces of the trade and you would still have to give up something else with Cargo to get just Trout

He is so overvalued at this point...I received Braun for him about 6 weeks ago...I think he ends up being a 20/50 player moving forward with good avg and good runs, weak in the RBI dept...overall hot talent, but not worth it being he's played only half a season

help me?

;-D Probably have to overpay for Trout and I am not sure it would be worth it.

Trout is a hot commodity right now, so your initial proposal probably not enough (but worst he can do is say no).

Please help with my Trout-related trade:
