Andrew Baggarly @CSNBaggs
I asked Bochy if Sanchez's bat is preferable to Belt's. "Yeah, I think that's fair to say. Wouldn't you?"
No Bochy, I would not.
Brandon Belt: .246/.356/.402
Hector Sanchez: .281/.286/.383
How can a major league manager have literally no idea how to value OBP?

Not only does playing Hector put a much worse hitter in the line up, but Hector is a TERRIBLE reciever and Belt is a great defender at first. You're massively downgrading two positions defensively so that you can put a worse hitter in the line up. There is not a worse manager in baseball.
I obviously don't blame Sanchez for Bochy, but I can't help but be a little happy to see Hector going on the DL (it's not a serious injury). I just hope to all hell that Brandon produces in the time that he's out or I have no faith whatsoever that he'll ever play again.
I don't know where you guys get your game info from, so you're gonna have to deal with lol formatting.
