So, will Bell get his job back? Right now I am in a 9 team, NL only, roto league, and am leading in saves. I've got Papelbon, Chapman, and just picked up Cishek. Should I drop Bell? In May, another owner dropped him. I picked him up and he was flawless for a while. Will this happen again, or is it a safe bet that Bell is done?
Thanks.

Every thing I read says Bell won't be getting the job back.

Well the fact that Cishek was available somewhat surprises me. It might help to know what kind of stuff is available on the WW right now? Also, it depends on your league dynamics...would you expect Bell to get picked up by someone else, or do you feel comfortable knowing he'll wait for you should you change your mind? Why are you dropping Bell? To make room for what? If the question is Bell or Cishek, I think you need to ride Cishek at the moment. I don't think there's much doubt he'll get the majority of save chances for awhile. Bell still has that contract though...not positive you can count him out for the year. All in all I wouldn't worry about losing him too much, especially if you're already first in saves.

I think if he puts up a bunch of scoreless innings he'll eventually get his job back, but who knows.

It all really depends. Maybe if he does really well. But Cishek would probably have to perform poorly also. At this point in time, signs point to no.
Help here?

Found this
http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/marlins/ ... eath-bell/Manager Ozzie Guillen intends to give Heath Bell another chance at taking his closer’s back, but Ozzie might be hard-pressed to do anything just yet. The Marlins have had two save chances since Ozzie took the job away from Bell to start the second half of the season, and two different relievers nailed down both saves.
Sounds like him getting his job back is a toss-up. First he has to be given the chance, then he has to pitch well.

I agree with this but who knows if those scoreless innings will come or not.
