-Jose Bautista was put on the DL Tuesday with left wrist inflammation. Still no word on how much time he'll have to miss, but it sounds like it's not broken. The Jays called up Anthony Gose to take his spot. Gose was the No. 38 prospect in baseball on BA's Mid-season top 50. He'll presumably start daily while Bautista recovers and should be a mini-Trout for fantasy teams, providing SBs and a potentially quality average with the outside shot at throwing in some HRs. With a good showing, he may stick in the Jays' outfield. Rajai Davis has a .249/.303/.383 line this year.
-The Blue Jays should could use the best Doc in baseball right about now, but unfortunately, he now plays for the Phillies. Coincidentally, Roy Halladay is being activated today to take on the Dodgers. It'll be his first start since May 27, and his recovery from a lat strain seems to have gone well after his one rehab start. With Halladay, Ryan Howard and Chase Utley all active, the Phillies are finally ready to begin the season anew. We get to wipe the records clean for the second half, right?
-Carl Crawford finally made his season debut Monday, scoring two runs and picking up a hit and a walk in four plate appearances. Once Dustin Pedroia gets activated in a couple days, the Red Sox lineup will be healthy for the first time all season. Maybe. David Ortiz hurt his Achilles rounding the bases during an Adrian Gonzalez home run. Geez, Papi, Gonzalez hits a homer like one every three weeks -- quit hogging the spotlight. If Ortiz has to miss any time (and it sounds like it'll only be a few days), Crawford will probably DH.
-John Axford blew his sixth save on Monday, which means it's well past time for him to hit the DL with something like "fatigue," "dehydration" or "mediocrity." a switch seems on the verge of being made, so grab Francisco Rodriguez if you need saves. Of course, it's entirely possible K-Rod will be closing for the Mets at some point in the next two weeks as well. Axford has a 5.35 ERA and 1.57 WHIP. Sounds like someone the Royals would consider trading Melky Cabrera for. Oh wait, he gone. Eric Hosmer, perhaps?
-Speed Round: Carlos Quentin was scratched with knee soreness. Jason Kubel thinks he might play today. Mariano Riveria is setting September as his goal for returning. Joey Votto is now expected to miss 3-4 weeks, not two weeks as initially thought. Zack Grienke will be skipped in the rotation Wednesday, because pitchers always pitch better after ten days off[/sarcasm]. Juan Carlos Oviedo sprained his UCL; drop him if you're waiting on saves. Gavin Floyd's headed to the DL with forearm tendinitis after pitching scoreless outings in three of his last four starts.
Completely Speculative Trades That WILL Happen Today
-Justin Upton, to the Pirates, for Starling Marte, Justin Wilson and Tony Sanchez. -Ryan Dempster, to the Braves, for Sean Gilmartin.

Almost 2 hours. I suggest cutting down on the number of leagues!
I couldn't find him in one league. Kept on searching in available players, and he just wouldn't come up. I was on the phone with tech support for an hour trying to figure out the problem. The guy finally told me he was already on someone else's team. That's not fair!
Other teams shouldn't be allowed to pick up players before me. What kind of black magic is this?
Edit: And it was only one hour.

I feel like the DBacks would have to be crazy to settle for that. If they trade Upton to the Pirates and don't come away with either Tallion or Cole, it won't be enough.
