Postby BUCCOFAN » Tue Jul 17, 2012 12:48 pm

Deep 14 team Yahoo H2H league. Rotissere style. Keeper League, (we keep 10 players)

Out of the following who would you waive? In order to claim Gose. I think its down to Alonso or Marte,

C - C.Santana (1B)

UT - D.Espinosa (2B)
LF - M.Morse (1B/RF)
CF - D.Jennings (LF)
RF - J.Kubel (LF/RF)
OF - Q.Berry (LF/CF)
OF - Y.Alonso (1B) (is he waiver wire material?, 1B I have covered with Morse as my backup to Butler)
UT - M.Scutaro (SS/2B)
BN - G.Parra (LF/CF/RF)
BN - S.Marte (CF) (awaiting his recall, maybe I am waiting for nothing)

DL - B.Roberts (2B)
DL - A.Dirks (LF/CF/RF)

SP - J.Verlander
SP - C.Kershaw
SP - J.Shields
RP - J.Motte
RP - A.Reed
RP - R.Betancourt
P - J.McDonald
P - C.Janssen
P - R.Oswalt

BN - G.Floyd (SP)
BN - C.Billingsley (SP)
BN - A.Aceves (SP/RP)

I would be ok dropping Alonso but realize that Gose is likely to be about as valuable as Alonso has been for you.

That maybe so.....but I think there is a higher upside for Gose, and the Jays are not going to let him sit on the bench with Bautista out, if that was the case they would of called up Thames/Snider or McCoy

I could use SB's and runs enter Gose? who knows

Maybe Marte is the saver bet, since my Bucco's don't know what to do with him anyways :-S

unless your thinking about keeping marte i would drop him. the bucs GM has said numerous times this year that marte will not be called up this year, and with the trade rumors of quentin and upton i dont think theres any chance he gets called up this year. plus theres gonna be plenty of young players next year that youll be able to draft if someone picks up marte and stashes him.

alonso is in an awful ball park, look how bad rizzo did last year there compared to hitting friendly wrigley.

i would consider dropping him as well.
