Quick Help on Replacement Pitcher - WHIR

Need to pick up a pitcher - Liriano, Masterson, Wandy, Diamond, T. Wood - all $1

Leaning toward Wandy feeling he'll be going to a contender. Leading all pitching cats except saves (punted) but W and Ks are close.

I actually like Liriano. He has been on fire lately. Amazing Ks in a losing effort in his last start. Should hold on, he has the most upside of any of those guys, but also the most downside. So ride him while he is hot and drop him as soon as the wheels slow.

I like Wandy for the reasons you state and he's more reliable...consistent track record, WHIP advantage.

If Liriano gets dealt he probably becomes a bullpen arm for a contender, limited K's, no wins.
If he doesn't, he's still with the Twins...K's, no wins.

If Wandy gets dealt he's still a starter for a contender...K's, more wins.
If he doesn't, he's the same as Liriano.
