In order to replace Joey Bats if (when) he goes to the DL.
Note: the Blue Jays say they will call up Gose if Bautista goes on the DL: I expect them to call up Gose even if Bautista does not go on the DL. And, if he plays well for a few days does he take the LF job?
Needs - All offensive categories but Net Steals is more valuable than any other category (it is the place I can pick up the most points).
AL Only, no one else is available.

Post your roster. I would go with Cain b/c he'll have a spot.

Thanks for helping with my Doc Hollywood post!
I agree with MadDog here. I'd take Cain b/c he can help out immediately, but I'd keep one open on Gose.

Cain has gig, and there seems to be time to adjust to Gose if he arrives and does well.
Help me!

I would say at this point in time Cain is the safer player. He's going to be eased back in probably batting in the 2nd part of the lineup early on but he has more potential this year. I don't see him stealing a lot of bases though.
Gose is a gamble. He could be called up for a short time, he could be very good defensively but not sure how he's going to react to Major league pitching, the guy strikes out a ton! He has to get on to steal bases. I can't see them batting him lead off with that many strikeouts.
I'd go with Cain.
