Big name Players!!! WHIR

Postby cfrat24 » Mon Jul 16, 2012 2:58 pm

12 team, 5x5 roto league. Currently im in 6th, and need to make a drastic push. Without getting to far into details, I need pitching, and also need RBI's and SBS.

this is a KEEPER league where we keep 3 players each yr, which strasburg would be a 15th round pick in next years draft!!!!! hes the only keeper eligible in this deal.

I would be making 2 trades with 2 diff teams, but it would eventually look like this:

I would be trading away VOTTO, STRASBURG

And I would be gettting KING FELIX, TEX, DEMPSTER, VICTORINO

I keep trying to get better than victorino with one of the owners, but he isn't budging

DO I MAKE BOTH THE TRADES

And who are you cutting to get all 4 players on your roster? I don't see you making up 5 spots doing those deals unless it's a total logjam at the top right now.

i have NO chance at winning it all.....but i do have a $200 sidebet with the guy whos 1 spot in front of me.....plus i can finish in the money with top 4 get paid out.

I have players to drop...plenty of injured players just sitting on my bench....33 player rosters!

As these deals both stand, i don't like either one. Votto should be netting you a little more, i would think - he's a superstart in his own right. Stausburg looks real good as a keeper for next year - again, a superstar in his own right, and he'll be another year removed from surgery.

Without seeing your whole roster, it's tough to fully evaluate each trade. If you say you need pitching, i'd do the first, but wouldn't trade Strasburg. Remember, it would force you to cut 1 guy.

Thanks for the help earlier.

I don't like either deal man. I wouldn't do either. Votto and strasburg are big big guys you are moving. I like strasburg to outpitch felix and tex can't shine votto's shoes right now. The differences in those superstars are not worth an on the decline victorino and dempster. Please help me man.
