Drop Capuano for Josh Johnson

Postby tjdonn2 » Sun Jul 15, 2012 3:52 am

10 team Roto league, Redraft, no keepers, daily lineup
C S. Perez
1B Encarnacion
2B Aviles
3B A. Ramirez
SS Bonifacio
1B/3B Middlebrooks
2B/SS Plouffe
OF Kemp, Trout, Holliday, Ethier, Berkman
DH Butler
BN Salty, Rizzo

P R. Soriano, Street, K. Jansen, Aceves, Frieri
SP Kershaw, Price, Sabathia, Peavy
BN Lincecum, Capuano

I don't wanna drop Salty yet, gotta make sure Perez is legit.

JJ was just dropped in my league and my question is, who is better for the ROS...should I drop one of the catchers...should I just stay put?

I would definetly pick up Johnson. But I like Capuano for spot starts. 5 closers??? I would drop one of them perhaps Aceves with talks of Bailey returning soon. Or Freiri, I like him but still in a committee with Downs.

Drop Salty. Perez is a solid catcher and there is no good reason to have two catchers on your roster.

Thanks guys, I'm dropping Salty. Closers in this league are like gold. Guys in this league roster set up men and prospective closers just to get the chance at having one. A couple of years back a guy dominated the league by running out relievers in every Pitching slot. We actually have rules now that prevent anybody from doing that, but it worked somehow.
