Among Saltalamacchia, Perez, and Lucroy, what two catchers would you keep for the rest of the season? Scoring categories are r, hr, rbi, sb, and obp.
Lucroy and Perez can both hit for average and a high obp, although neither have any real history to rely on in the mlb. Salty has a terrible obp, but also has 17 hrs on the year.
I think Salty and Perez. Salty has batted as high as 4th in that Bos lineup. He won't help you averages, but he'll bring home a few HR. Perez has been a stud since he came back. Wish I had picked him up instead of holding onto bad news (J) Montero. I'm not necessarily a big believer in Lucroy. I might be on the minority side.
Salty and perez, no doubt. Lucroy is still hurt man. Salty has 17 bombs, you cant get rid of him. And perez has been great since hes been back. Please help me
I actually only need 1 catcher. I had Lucroy until he got hurt. Put him on the DL. Picked up Salty. His OBP sucks, but again, he has 17 hr, not too bad for the catcher position. I picked up Perez because he is sort of the opposite of Salty, meaning he can hit and get on base consistently. I doubt I could simply trade Salty for anyone meaningful, but maybe package him with someone else? Lucroy will be back in a week or two, but I'll probably just drop him, as Perez has effectively replaced him and contributes to the same categories. So should I keep Perez and Salty or package Salty with another hitter and make a trade?
