Pretty even trade i think. Are you in contention this season? If you are, I would have a hard time hitting accept. Prince has been good, and still hasn't hit full stride, and Rasmus has been great. Votto has been amazing, but Hosmer has been,.. eh. If you're playing for this year, i'd hit decline, if you're playing for the future, I might hit accept. I like Hosmer better long term than Rasmus.
In 3rd and 14 games back of 1st ... 6 make the playoffs so very much in contention. Was in 1st on Memorial Day but injuries (and an ill-fated Jordan Zimmermann for Lincecun deal) killed my team the last 6 weeks.
If he gave me Dunn instead of Hosmer would it be an accept? I'm not dying to move Prince but getting Votto somehow would be great.
I really like this. You can find a replacement for Rasmus. Hosmer hits for a higher average (likely), doesn't strike out as much, steals some bases too. Votto over Fielder seems like no brainer.
