Ya it'll be Romo officially but Bochy will not shy away from using Affeldt or Lopez if match-ups dictate.

I've seen Wilton Lopez showing up on a number of early top 300 lists. What are his chances of winding up in the closer's role.

He had an excellent year, but I can't see the Rockies taking the closing job away from Betancourt before a pitch is even thrown. Lopez's chances as closing likely rely on whether Betancourt is traded.

I don't expect the Rockies to compete. They could certainly move Betancourt at the deadline. He was heavily rumored to be traded this past summer.

What do you think of Hanrahans chances of succeeding in Boston? The skipper has already anointed him as the closer over Bailey. Although his walks are up, Joel chalked that up to an injury he sustained last season.

I've got no reason to think he won't succeed but I also expected Melancon to be much better than he was last year, moving from the NL to the AL.

Hanrahan's velocity dipped slightly last season and he completely lost the strike zone. That said, he still has the stuff to get the job done. He's not someone that I am specifically targeting though unless he falls considerably ... which I don't see happening since he is in Boston. Someone will reach.
