The guys in last place so he's trading all his players for draft picks.
Im currently in 5th place, knocking on 4th place's door in a 12 team league
I get
Cliff lee
Josh Reddick
Travis Wood
He gets
My 1st round pick
Coco Cirsp
Ervin Santana
Ubaldo Jiminez
are those 3 players worth my 1st round pick?
My team:
C: Yadi Molina
1B Mark Teixeira
2B Dan Uggla
3B Hanley Ramirez
SS Starlin Castro
OF Alex Rios
OF Adam Jones
OF Melky Cabrera
Uti David Freese
Uti Jesus Montero
bench: Coco Crisp, De Aza
SP RA Dickey
SP Ryan Dempster
SP Ervin Santana
Sp Dan Haren
SP Josh Beckett
SP Tom Hanson
RP Jon Axford
bench: Tom Milone, Ubaldo Jiminez,
DL Roy Halladay
So I do need help at Sp and another bat
Should I do this trade? Are those 3 players worth my 1st round pick next year?

I don't think you do this trade. If Halladay comes back and is himself the second half that's going to help. Additionally, Santana is well known to be a second half pitcher. If he and Haren can figure out their business for the second half, with those three and Dickey you'll be totally fine on pitching. If you could somehow twist the deal to get rid of the 1st rounder than that'd be great. I don't see your need for a guy like reddick. Your outfield is solid. Maybe your three guys for Lee and Wood? Depends on how much faith (or lack there of) you have in the ability of skilled guys like Santana and Ubaldo to find their stride in the second half. Personally, as an Angel fan and as someone who has Ervin on my team, I think that you should stand pat or try to do this deal without sacrificing your first pick. Hope that was helpful.
