Need help to make a second-half championship run

Postby blazed118 » Fri Jul 13, 2012 3:34 am

I am currently in 4th place in my league. I went offense heavy in my auction, and need some serious help in the pitching department. I've been playing for years, but have always struggled figuring out equal-value trades when it comes to trading an offensive player for a pitcher, and vice-versa. Any ideas about a player, or a combo of players I could dish for any elite pitchers would be much appreciated.

It is a 10-team h2h, standard 5x5 ESPN mixed league.

My team:
*Other eligibility in ()

C: Mike Napoli (1B)

1B: Mark Trumbo (OF, DH)

2B: Robinson Cano

3B: Hanley Ramirez (SS)

SS: Jimmy Rollins

OF: Matt Holliday, Jose Bautista (3B), BJ Upton

DH: Jason Kubel (OF)

Util: Jose Altuve

Bench: Lance Berkman (1B, OF)(DL), Kevin Youkilis (1B, 3B), Chase Utley, Angel Pagan, Mike Moustakas

SP: Tim Lincecum, David Price, Vance Worley, Max Scherzer , Kyle Lohse, Francisco Liriano, Edwin Jackson, Michael Fiers, Franklin Morales

RP: Chris Perez, Jonathan Broxton

I have been streaming pitchers for the most part with limited success so far. Picking up halfway decent SP's from free agency is very hit or miss because my league doesn't utilize the waiver order unless it is a recently dropped player. Lincecum has utterly destroyed me this year...
Thanks in advance to any advice!
