even as an owner I have little faith, although hes absolutely carried me this year, I offered him for Ellsbury and it was turned down, and maybe Ill be thankful of that.

Yeah...thinking there might actually be something to that swing change of his. This is more than a prolonged hot streak at this point. Over the last calendar year, he's been one of the top 10 hitters in baseball: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?p ... &sort=17,d

whats interesting to me is that his babip is lower then anyone above him. Does that mean that his stats may even climb?
His BABIP is pretty normal for his career right now. I can't imagine any reason why it would spike at this point.

someone dropped Lincecum at the all star break. I picked him up, not using waiver priority. now tonight I'm considering starting him at home against the Astros. it's not like the Astros have a good lineup.
Schafer, Altuve, Lowrie, Martinez, Moore, Johnson, Maxwell, Snyder, Harrell.

EDIT: for what it's worth. I don't think he could hurt me. I'm 1st in ERA with 3.22. next guy has 3.43 ERA. I'm 1st in WHIP at 1.14. next guy is 1.22 WHIP.

If you have an IP limit, I see no benefit from starting him until he gives you a reason to in Roto. In H2H, in a long week, I'd be more likely to roll the dice. Dude has just been turrrible.

Can't stand the BoSox, but damn, Middlebrooks is fun to watch. Two-run bomb off of David Price. ;-D

Jesus montero droppable in 12 team OBP leagues?
Guy has been absolutely horrible for nearly 2 months now, his playing time is sporadic, and I cant justify carrying a 2nd catcher on my bench.

So what are you guys doing with him?

Okay, so maybe this was mentioned, but Funston just came out with his Big Board again on 7/14. Lo and behold, a day after the Cafe, same as last time he did an update of it.
