Ian K and Downs tried to ruin my day, Soriano/Kimbrel/Bumgarner trying to salvage something. Ian K hurts especially bad since I started him instead of Holland
That Downs blown save hurt a lot.. had a two start advantage in a H2H league this week, but am only up 10 points with one less start after Waino, Hudson, CJ and Kershaw..

I'm praying that Kershaw throws up another unreal second half like last year. I have him in a H2H league and it's been rough watching him put up relatively pedestrian numbers since May when I lost Dan Hudson for the season and Halladay/McCarthy haven't pitched at all. I thought I would dominate pitching with ease, has instead been a roller coaster. Kershaw's numbers are close to the same besides a lower K rate and more homers between last year and now.
On the plus side, he can start picking up wins again with the offense back.

I think Kershaw is definitely good in the 2nd half, but last years second half is extremely unlikely just because I dont think he can repeat the amont of wins he had after the all-star break last season.
Are we witnessing Joey Bats 2.0 with Edwin? This guy has been an absolute beast, and it could be like Bautista, where people still dont believe what they are seeing is real. Hes only 29.
even as an owner I have little faith, although hes absolutely carried me this year, I offered him for Ellsbury and it was turned down, and maybe Ill be thankful of that.
Interesting umpire decision going on in the Met game now. Basically, runner on first, flare to left field. Valdespin traps it, but it's called out. He throws it in to Murphy, who throws to first. Davis steps on first, to double up the runner as if the ball was caught, and then he also tags the runner who was on first before he can return to the base, just to be safe. The umpires convene, rule it was a trap, and now award runners on first and second. Terry Collins ejected. How is the runner on 1st not out after Ike Davis tags him?
