Trade an OF for a SP?

Postby dubstar » Thu Jul 12, 2012 8:34 pm

A buddy of mine is looking to move a starter for an outfielder, and I am trying to decide if I should move one and what pitcher I should try to get. I have Halladay about to come back, don't know how he'll do, I also have Sale who will probably be limited so if I'm going to need a starter this may be my last good chance before the deadline. My team is below, I think he's only really interested in Choo or Bruce.

The starters he has that I'd be interested in are: Gio, Zimmermann, Latos, Peavy, Garza

10 team h2h keeper(keep 6)
R, HR, RBI, SB, OBP, XBH
W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, QS

C Santana
1B Butler
2B Kinsler
3B Lawrie
SS Andrus
OF Bruce, Choo, Kemp
UTIL Willingham
BN Plouffe, Fowler, Rizzo

SP Gallardo, Hanson, Hellickson, Sale, Bauer, Vogelsong
RP Frieri, Johnson, Wilhelmsen
DL Halladay

I'd move Choo. Try for Gio first, then move on down that list, I'd say. Help me? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=450410&p=3546939#p3546939

I agree move Choo or Bruce

Pitchers ranked in this order:
Gonzalez
Latos
Zimmermann
Garza (ranked higher then Peavy cause he will get traded)
Peavy

Choo for Latos is about perfect.
