Need Help With Trout Trades

I have Trout in a 10-team, 6x6 roto scoring keeper league. Two offers have been made to me for Trout:

A) Trout + 21st rd pick next year for Kershaw and Ellsbury
B) Trout + Brandon McCarthy for J. Upton, Bumgarner and 10th rd pick next year

Do I do either of these? If so, which one?

My current keepers (keep 8) would be: Trout, Cargo, Bruce, Adrian Gonzalez, Beltre, Andrus, Verlander, Hellickson/Kennedy/Cueto

i kinda like A...do you keep the players in the drafter rounds and lose that pick? that is where alot of value for Trout is since nobody drafter him to early, whereas Ellsbury was prob 1st or 2nd round

in either trade you are upgrading at SP...i love Upton and Bumgarner...well rounded players.

To MrJB: We simply use our first 8 picks as keepers...doesn't matter what rounds they were picked. If you don't keep 8 (which is an option), you get a pick in that round instead

Agreed here. I'd say if you can keep Trout someone indefinitely or for the next 3-5 years then hold off. But if not, then I'd maybe go Kershaw Ellsbury. Upton bum is great too though, if ou want the slightly ounger Upton.
