Pujols for Pedroia and Longoria? ALL HELP RETURNED

Postby kaiser » Thu Jul 12, 2012 2:40 pm

Leave a link for help returned.

10 team H2H keeper. Keep four.

I am trying to move Albert Pujols, since his $50 keeper cost is probably too much for me next year. The deal:

I give Pujols and Madison Baumgarner

I get Dustin Pedroia and Evan Longoria.

Make the deal?

That's tough. Pedroia is a bit of an injury risk. I think straight up, Pujols and Bum are too much, even though I think Pujols is slowly digressing. However, I think you could do worse if you really want to dump the $50 pujols.

I think you could do better. Id shop him for one of the young/cheap studds. Nobody is trading trout right now but but maybe you can go after harper/rizzo or sale/mcdonald. Then work down for there, even a package with a good minor league prospect is smart if you cannot keep Pujols next year.

I'd stick with Pujols and Bumgartner. Pedroia is hurt and Longoria is ALWAYS hurt. Plus, although I don't believe Pujols will attain his previous heights in fantasy, I think you are still selling a bit low on him. Lastly, Bumgartner is for real. I don't do this trade. Hope this helps.
