Who do I drop? I'm open to suggestions about hitters and pitchers, however, please don't recommend dropping heath bell, I won't consider it. You can try to convince me if yoi really want but it probably won't work.
need more info...keeper on non, scoring system, etc. Just a quick glance I would say drop Bell. If you're not open to that, look at dropping Oswalt or Bauer if its a non-keeper.
Need more info as others said, but I'd probably drop Bell. Looks like Oviedo may have at least a share of the closing duties when he comes back and could just take over outright if he pitches well. If you really want to hang on to Bell I'd say cut Oswalt loose.
I'm facing a similar decision with Ellsbury returning. If I were you I would get rid of Oswalt. I am a Texas Rangers fan and have watched every one of his games and he has not looked very good. His win total is okay but most of his other stats are terrible. Texas will provide him with more wins than he deserves but I think that if you needed a pitcher you could find a better on on the WW. Also, I have a feeling that the Rangers are going to trade for another pitcher at the trade deadline (i.e. Geinke, Hamels, etc) and I think Oswalt will be the first to go. PLus Neftali Feliz is getting healthy soon as well. Bottom line, I'd get rid of Oswalt if you don't want to touch Bell. Hope this helps.
For some reason I really can't bring myself to drop oswalt. He's too proven and he's on the best team in baseball. I know someone will stag him immediately and I have a feeling he's gonna have a string of good starts soon.
Can any of you think of a 2 for one deal that I can offer? 2 bats for a pitcher or a bat and a pitcher for a better pitcher?
I may sway for Allen Craig. With Berkman coming off the DL as well, Craig will lose starts. It sucks, but it's a fact. With Berkman's ability to hit for power, average, and his high OBP from walks, he'll be getting at least 1/2 the starts. Beltran's not going to lose too many starts.
